I look out, I see you came;
A little bird outside my window pane.

Sitting at my window sill,
Thinking if you won't or will;
I would hate to see you freeze,
But you'll just do as you please;
Offering to keep you warm;
A safe haven from the winter storm.

Oh, little bird, where have you flown?
Show me the sights you have been shown.
The storm will pass before too long,
So please sing me your lovely song.

I won't keep you in a cage,
And I'll never make you enraged;
